One of the most innovative developments in modern dentistry has been the implementation of 3D cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) in everyday practice. With CBCT imaging, detailed images of the jaw, teeth, nerves and other structures can be obtained to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. In implant dentistry, 3D imaging is fast becoming the standard of care for implant surgery. At Pham Dentistry, we use the latest in CBCT technology to make our implant procedures as accurate, safe, and successful as possible. We are also mindful of patients exposure to radiation and only take the minimum number and size of images necessary.

Our 3D imaging software allows us to place implants with the utmost accuracy, know if bone grafting is needed, and give you a detailed plan before surgery is performed. Dr. Pham will review your 3D scan with you and explain all of the relevant findings so you are well informed about the procedure. A CBCT scan can also be used to create custom guides for implant placement. Every case is different, and we want to be sure we have every angle covered to give you the best treatment possible.
